This is a really nice hoodie. It's very soft inside and the fabric on the outside has a really nice, rough but also smooth feel (good-quality cotton?). I bought this in a bit of a panic, realizing I was going to be in a very stressful situation 2 times a week for 13 weeks, and wanting any and everything that might help. It came fast - especially since Canada Post was just recovering from its strike - and today was the first day I got to actually test it. And it works really well! Obviously, nothing is a 'cure-all' but I found the weight really comforting - not too heavy to wear around, but still noticeable.
I will note, in regards to sizing, that it's a bit odd (not bad) in that the torso is quite short compared to the width. I am 5 feet, about 110 pounds, and I got the XS - I'm drowning in the width but it's actually a good length, I wouldn't want it much shorter. The hood is super large and I would say even thicker than the rest of the hoodie.
